Lisa Morse (hfcscrmom)
42, Female
United States
Hometown:
Weaverville
Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
I have two teenagers that I adore. They are great kids.. One is a soccer player and one is a ballet/ tap dancer. My daughter is 16 soon to be 17 and my son is 13 soon to be 14. They keep me very busy. Their personalities are very different. One is very shy and studious the other is very outgoing and much more athletic. I am a stay at home mom but I volunteer about 20 plus hours a week in the school system. My kids are very active in their church youth group. I love to travel all over with my sons soccer team. Sometimes it is hard but most of the time I love it. I love to watch him play even if it means having to travel to greensboro and Winston Salem and high Point Etc. I love to watch my daughter Dance and but I only get to see that a few times a year. Sometimes i will sneak in and watch her teach her pre school classes. We are touring colleges right now so that is our special time. I take advantage of that and make it overnight trips so that we can spend that time just the two of us and tour the campus and shop and visit together. ( Dad has to work). It scares me a little that she will be leaving me soon. Ok I will hush now...

Hi Lisa...nice to meet you too! I'm new to this, and I'm really enjoying how easy it is to connect with other moms in the area! This is fun! Hope you are having a great day. Look forward to getting to know you.

I'll have to check out Moments...I'm a coffee fiend!!! Where did yours take guitar? That's on the list, too. I will look into Weverville dance- I figure that we will probably start being normal after the 1st of the year...meaning actually becoming involved in things (lol).

Artspace is a k-8 charter school in Swannanoa. Yeah...my kids all in one place ...for the last time ;o(. My youngest (boy) plays baseball, but we missed fall ball deadlines. The 13 yr old used to dance and would like to start back up again. Where does your daughter dance? When I lived here as a kid, I took at Fletcher's, but they're gone aren't they? The middle one likes soccer and was in girl scouts (gave that up b/c it gets so involved the older they get ;o)...she also wants to start piano (and the oldest wants voice) but everywhere I check into seems very expensive....not at all what I'm used to. And when I multiply x 3, AAAAAHHHH!

She's in 7th at Artspace...which is good because we aren't settled...so we have a.5 years to figure out where exactly we will live (lol). I'm ready to go a little out of Asheville...I need more of that small-town feel ;o). Love your pics...your children are beautiful ;o)

we have always laughed because Rocky Mount (where we came from) thinks it is the old south ;o)... and a lot of those real southern traditions (ma'am, sir, dressing up for church, etc) are what we miss. I read the GRITS book the other day (Girls Raised in the South) and laughed because I felt back home!
