When did you start using blankets on your baby/toddler at night?

We started leaving a receiving blanket in her crib at about 5 months. I was really afraid to do this, but the doctor told us it would be fine since the blanket is so thin. My little girl likes to s... Read More »

Hi Jennifer!

So nice to meet you! I am thinking about the North Asheville area, possibly near the Beaver Dam neighborhood. I am still in the research stage right now and am open to suggestions. I was thinking near the Fresh Market or other shopping center might be a convenient place for moms. I would love to hear your ideas.
My husband and I are planning on having kids in a few years. I would like to be in business for at least a year before I try to get pregnant, and my business will be designed for moms who want to work a few hours a week in exchange for child care right at the shop. One of the main reasons I want to open my own place is to give myself and others a chance to raise their kids in an arts-based environment where we can also have adult interaction.
What do you think is missing in the Asheville area in terms of kid-friendly coffee shops?

Look forward to hearing your ideas,
Tonya
