- I developed severe preeclampsia and had an emergency c-section at 28 weeks and 6 days. Our little boy weighed just 1 pound 15 ounces and was 13 inches long. David Lewis "Lewie" Faunce spent 2 1/2 months in the NICU at Mission. He is almost 6 months old now and he is doing great. He still has a lot of catching up to do developmentally but he has no serious health problems. He weighs almost 16 pounds and is such a cutie. Our first baby experience has been quite a rollercoaster ride but motherhood is wonderful!
