interested in participating in a psychology study?
I'm an Assistant Professor of Psychology at UNC Asheville, and am looking for 4- and 5-year-old, typically-developing children to participate in a study on language and cognitive development this summer.
My lab is interested in better understanding the role language plays in cognition, in order to develop assessments for children with language difficulties (i.e., children with autism, specific language impairments, and deaf children born to hearing parents).
Each child would be asked to come to the Psychology Department just once, at a time convenient for your family, to play games for 60-90 minutes. I attached our letter to parents, which outlines the study in more detail.
