Does anyone have a list of information regarding formula prices in the area?

Wal-Mart generally has the cheapest stuff. But, a good tip is to call the 800 number on the back of formula cans and ask to be added to their mailing lists. Companies will not only send you free stuff, they will also inundate you with coupons!

Ingles prints $8.00 off coupons for Enfmil products quite often. (Some of the older cashiers will save them because they know the value of a dollar. Just ask them if they have any.) The normal price is around $12 a can for powder if you are using the Enfmil or Simulac brand...No matter what, go to the health department and apply for WIC if you havn't already. WIC can save big $$$$...around $45-$48 a month in formula alone. And if you are breastfeeding and using formula, you can receive vouchers for juice, milk, cheese, p-nut butter, etc.

Enroll in the Nestle GoodStart formula Web site for mailings. They will send you coupons for $1 and $11 off.

We buy the Target brand comparable to Enfamil Gentlease and it is about $15 for 24 oz.

I actually have found the cheapest formula at Target or Toys R Us. We use Similac Advance, and Target OFTEN (I mean probably 75% of the time) has the cans with 20% extra formula in them for 23.00. This is the cheapest per ounce that I've found Similac anywhere in town. Toys R Us also occasionally carries this size can at their regular price of 23.50 or so, but it's hit and miss there. It's pretty rare that I've seen that size. If neither one has the 20% off size, then the cheapest place is actually Toys R Us at 23.50 for a regular size can, because the regular Target price is almost 26.00. Complicated huh? LOL!

I also get emails from enfamil offering $10 or more off if you use thier home delivery service.

Ingles is cheaper by at least $1.00 on all powder formula. Yes, even cheaper than Wal-Mart-by at least a dollar. You can get the coupons printed out at the check out. They usually come out when people purchase another type of formula. So if you know someone who is using Good Start ask them to save the coupons they get for Enfamil. I wouldn't suggest that you ask a cashier to save one for you because they would be 'stealing' it from the person that rightfully earned it. Also, the cashiers could be fired for doing that. You could get someone in trouble. I know i wouldn't appreciate it if someone hoarded my coupon for the next guy. You can however go through the uscan checkouts to see if someone left theirs hanging. Does anyone use good start? I have some coupons that I could trade or just give you. I am using enfamil-so if anyone has any coupons, I could trade. I also have a few similac coupons. Target isn't even close to being the cheapest. I have checked everywhere and Ingles is cheaper

Amazing Savings at 121 Sweeten Creek Rd. in Asheville, and 3018 Hwy 70S in Black Mountain, often has infant formula at very low prices, sometimes as much as 50% off retail. Sometimes diapers too. Supplies are somewhat sporadic, so buy it when you see it.

We actually buy it off of E-bay. We get the powder formula, it is factory sealed and has expiration date on bottom of can, which is several months off. We have 3 children and all have been on Nutramigen which is very expensive and have done this with all 3 after spending big bucks in the beginning. A lot of people sell in bulk also which helps with not running out, some even offer free shipping. We have saved as much as half before.
