WNC Mom

I"m a single mama ISO other families to trade childcare with. I can't afford a babysitter right now and I work most weekend evening/nights for a catering co. Slumber parties at my place would work out great! I've got a spare bedroom, plenty of toys, kiddy snacks, and great kid DVD's. Let me know if anyone out there is interested!
Thanks,
Mamamegan

I am also a single mom in the same boat except I work days, M-F. Sounds like a good trade if you could help cover days when school is out - that's my biggest hassle! I'm in dire meed of 'me' time but haven't been able to make it work. If your interested, let me know and we'll discuss some details!

Hi Kathryn,
It sounds like our schedules would work out well...I could plan on being available on teacher work days. I'd love to meet up for a playdate if that interests you. Please give me a call 828-713-5923. What area of Asheville do you live in? I"m down Leicester Hwy...
Thanks for responding....hope to hear from you soon!

Megan,

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. My computer was down until last night. I would love to get together sometime soon. I live in Skyland off Sweeten Creek. Doesn't seem like we are really close by but who knows? I'll give you a call sometime soon.

Dear Mamamegan,

We noticed your post on WNCmom.com. You may want to check out http://www.DaycareTrade.com.

We are a completely free, dedicated service that is designed to match up parents needing exactly the cooperative child care arrangment you are looking for. This is a great idea, because we've found that parents who want to work part-time can save $500-$800 month after month, by not having to pay for traditional daycare.

We hope you find someone in your area, and you can increase the odds by using the tools on the site to tell all your friends.

Thanks!
